Welcome to my lifestyle blog! I’m a fashion & celebrity obsessed prepster living in a small mountain town full of hipsters and bro-brahs. After moving here 4 years ago, I quickly realized that my “norm” is not the norm of the ski-town world. I come from a place of all girls schools, preppy outfits, pimped out suvs, and the whitest-white girls jamming out to hardcore rap music because they think they are ghetto. You could describe my day-to-day life as a “walking white girl problem”. The world I live in now is full of people who think 10 inches of fresh powder is the best thing to ever happen to them, and who judge based on your skiing skills and not on your degree or job. I tried for a second to fit in to my new mountain ski town, but realized I really am different than most of the people here. I quickly decided to just be myself. I chose the name Powder Babes because it describes who I am – a girl who loves snow and mountain sports, but still loves to be girly. With my Powder Babes blog, I hope to bring you a look into my daily life and thoughts. People in the mountains don’t care about reality tv or fashion or celebrities; but I do. And hopefully, you do too.
